Large flames began to rise on the top of the building just after 1pm this afternoon. The fire started on the roof and it’s been difficult for firefighter’s to get inside the building and to the top. St John has sent one person to the Auckland City Hospital because of a serious condition.
Sky City has exited out of all the Auckland area and everyone got forced to leave the Sky Tower and all the Sky City hotels and restaurants.
