New Zealand is set for a bumper Feijoa crop in 2020. Feijoas are just coming into season. They will in April and remain in huge supply until the end of June. Feijoas are really high in vitamin C. During autumn and winter it is more important than ever to consume plenty of fresh fruit to boost our immune systems and fight off any coughs, colds or bugs.
Growers have said that this year’s crop is approximately 20 percent higher than last year. It is expected that around 1500 tonnes will be harvested this season.
