Summer Learning Journey

For this summer learning journey activity I had to imagine I was in a waka heading off to New Zealand and imagine writing a letter to a friend about I would be feeling.

Letter: Hi Frank I am really nervous. The people around have lots of tattoos. I am scared because I am worried about my health. I have not eaten or drank anything ever since we got inside the waka. Hopefully I make it out alive.

For the first Summer Learning Journey activity I had to find three interesting facts abvout Maui.

1. Maui found a fish so big that it could be used for land and created New Zealand

2. Maui is the younges out of his brothers

3. Maui has a special jawbone

Rabbit

Hi my name is Nurul and today I’m going to tell you about rabbits. Rabbits has buck teeth.There fast at running.

Rabbits have short legs.Some rabbits body are fat and some are not.The big rabbits are not cute and the small ones are.They has pink nose.Rabbits have a big ears.

They need hay and pellets.They need water.They need shelter.

Some rabbits eye are red.

Fathers day

I am going to tell you about father's day.

You have to make your dad not to have a hard time working give him a day off.

Make a card for him.

Give him anything he want.Bake him a cake/buy him a cake.

Make him feel conforetabel.Don’t annoy him.

Pest are mean and disgusting for me they eat our native

birds and leave their mess on the ground they wouldn't even pick it up or take it somewhere else.

Pests are horrible on my bed

When there squashed they are dead.

They eat my food and I said boo I set up a trap and the pest went snap.

 

Tools

We need to have our tools ready like our pencils and rubbers and rulers and a paper so we can be ready for a test. If you don’t have your tools ready on a testing day and they already started and you're still finding your pen or pencil you will way behind and you will only have little time to finish your work.

You need to have your tools ready because when everybody is doing there work and finish you will be the last one to finish. Staionary are good because it comes with a pencill and a ruler and a pen and a rubber and books.

When you're done using the tools put them back in your desk.

Dogs as pets

Hello my name is Nurul and today I’m going to do a recount about dogs as pets.Dogs as pets are good because they listen to

They sleeps in a kennel a house and couch and cages on a bed.They eat meat and dog biscuits and bones.

Some dogs are cute and some dogs are not like a poodle and a bulldog.Bulldogs are ruff and poodles are not.

Introduced pest

Today I am going to tell you about a pests some come from Australia and some come from America. Pest eat our native birds and leave mess around. Rabbits dig holes and make our beautiful grass and flowers and our veggies and fruit discusting.Dogs bite people and cats chase birds.Wasps are pest because they eat our butterfles.Some spiders can poison people.

Hi my name is Nurul and these people is going to tell you some tips about swiming. Sione...Always change after swiming. If you want to swim always bring your togs and a towl. Tane... always have fun swiming.

ST Kents

Hi my name is Nurul and I'm going to tell you something about last term. Last term was good because we went to ST Kents. When we got there we played lots of activities. The college was huge it had lots of basketball hoops and the court was huge as well. 

My favourite activity was noughts and crosses. I was in the yellow team. Then we sang happy birthday to Musika.
